I absolutely loved her books. Thanks for the notice. Wish she was alive and still producing those wonderful books of hers. I do believe I have every single one of them in hardback, 'cause there were no electronic books back then. Heart

 

I also bought all of Phylis Whitney's books, which were similar in genre to Mary Stewart; also, have all of Victoria Holt's and Dorothy Eden's books. All four of these gals are great writers.

I used to like her.  She's a really good writer.  But then late in her career she got in the Authorian legends and that killed it.  I though King Author was a big bore, so I stopped reading her.  I don't think I've read any book of her written past the 1970's.
