If you are a fan of her series of books about Armand Gamache and Three Pines viillage, you may already know about her Facebook newletter available on the first of every month. The March newsletter has available for free download a flipbook with 1,000 responses sent to her when she asked her readers to share some good advice they had received. Louise includes a few quotes from her books and some photos. There is also a link to a Canadian singer Patti Casey "Stronger Than That". I've been singing the refrain from it all morning. I will go to the download for a daily dose of good advice. I can't post the link, but you probably will be able to find her page on Facebook. Good reading.

My memory isn't the best, but I thought I saw a movie based on this series. Not sure if they made more than one.

@AuntG Amazon Prime did a series of 8 episodes. Unfortunately it was not renewed for a second series. Big mistake. Louise Penny's books have a huge fan base.

I have read the entire series. Such good characters and stories. Her writing is great.

@Sooner If you read Louise Penny's Facebook entries, you will understand why she has decided to this. Sometimes you have to take a stand based on your principles.

@JCath I certainly understand taking a stand on one's principles--which is what I do.
