Re: Just finished One by One by Ruth Ware

@sunala @Epicurean  You won't regret it going back to it.  The last half of the book will not let up.

ONE BY ONE,by Ruth Ware was great I  read most of it in one setting! Action packed! I loved it. Fast paced didn't drag on.

Well, I returned it, but I may still have it on my Kindle if I didn't renew it yet. If so, I'll read it when I'm done with the book I'm presently reading.

I'm so glad that you all enjoyed it so much. Maybe I will too!

I did return it so I'm now on the waitlist. We'll see if I'll like it the next time around.

I am not a Ruth Ware Fan, but this title and storyline sounded interesting. I must be a sucker for punishment, because I requested it from my Library. I am number 91 on the list.

Help! I didn’t get the ending?!?!
Was Erin a victim, or part of it? I thought it was kind of dumb.

Was there any particular reason you thought so?  I didn't get that impression at all, but maybe I missed something.

Spoiler
I just remember the ending dragging on and on.  I'm used to Ware having a little twist at the end, but didn't feel like there was anything in this one. I even actively thought that - like, why add all that extra junk in there? That's why I'm wondering if I missed anything - like I was expecting Erin to have murdered her boyfriend, but that wasn't the case. I definitely thought it was an odd ending that went on way too long.  At one point I saw there were still three /four hours left and I had no idea how she could actually fill the time!!

With only 100 pages remaining this book is only going to be one that I can say, yes I read it.  It is just a book so far, not really bad but not really good either.  Maybe I will feel differently by the final page.

Re: Just finished One by One by Ruth Ware

I'm just about finished this one also.  My first book by her.  A little too "contemporary" for me and some illogical situations but I may try another one by her.
