Michael Crichton was the creator of Jurrassic Park.  When he died in 2008 he was working on his next blockbuster series.  He never finished it.

Fast forward to 2024.

I have no details but James Patterson has finished the book and both men are listed as co-authors. 

Obviously, all the legalities were worked out with all the relevant parties. 

From what I've read .... this is going to be a very good book!

  I'm on the list online at my library for Eruption,  it's a two month wait.

  I just finished Wandering Stars by Tommy Orange. It's not my type of book. The writing was strange and characters not likable.

I'm on the waitlist, too, and am hoping for a paperback, not a hard cover, but I'll take what I can get.

Just noticed that our library currently has 692 hold requests for 95 copies!

Thanks for the heads up. I prefer large print or hard back books, they are easier for me to read. I was unable to select the hard back, so I ended up going for the large print. I am number 42 out of 8 copies so it will be a few months before I receive it.
