I just finished the book and it's EXCELLENT!  It's so seamlessly finished by Jamers Patterson you would never think there were 2 authors.

I can absolutely see  a Hollywood blockbuster movie being made from this book - and quite frankly it would be wonderful to see in lieu of Hollywood's contant remakes.

Just started it last night.  So far so good.  Hooked me right away!

   I'm  reading Eruption now and am  especially enjoying it because my son and I toured the islands including Hawaii. 
   I recall landing at the airport and what I thought was paving was black volcanic hardened  ash. 
   I like the parts that include the thoughts and sayings of the islanders. Our tour guide told us it's bad luck to take volcanic rocks home. People were putting them back before boarding the bus. 
    How relevant the writing is in comparison to our country today. Scary! 
     Edited: I finished Eruption today, usually I read at night but HAD to finish it this morning. I read on my I pad and always have several books on request at my library using Libby.
