@smoochy wrote:today I'm starting The Nurse's Secret. Historical fiction. I also just got Amazon delivery of books 3 and 4 in the Armand Gamache detective series by Louise Penny. If you are looking for a great cozy mystery series, I recommend this. It's set in Canada 🇨🇦 Author's writing is reminiscent of Agatha Christie.
my current problem with reading is that I'm taking a medication that makes my vision blurry. I can only get through a few pages at a time.
I enjoy reading so much. That is one of my worst fears, that something will happen and I will be unable to read. I suffer from Vertigo and for a few months it was out of control. If I was able to read at all it would only be a few pages, and I would have to put the book down. There were days where I could not read at all, and when you are spinning you have no desire to. I am so glad that I am in a good place with it now. Hopefully, soon, you will be able to no longer have to take the medication.

I managed to get the rest of a book finished and I'm counting it as I started it in June and dropped it for my last book (which was a mistake). It was Kyra Davis' Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights. It was a cute chick lit mystery. #2 in the series from 2006.

Just PTB on She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica. Really disliked the style of writing and the pace of this book.
Now reading Eruption by Michael Critchton and James Patterson.

Today I finished Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez. This is my first book by this author and I liked it. I would describe it as a romance with some serious subplots. In fact there is a warning from the author about potential triggers. I liked the smart characters and the quick pace of the story. I recommend it.

@itsmetoo , Thanks for telling me who starred as Hannah. Jennifer Garner had to be perfect for that role.
@kindred cats You're welcome. Hope you enjoy it if you watch.
