If you like historical fiction . . .

Check out the Maggie Hope series by author Susan Elia MacNeal. I’m just now reading the 7th book in the series, “The Paris Spy”. Maggie was a math major at Wellesley College prior to WWII. She inherited her London grandmother’s house and went to London to check things out. She ends up staying there as the war breaks out and gets a job as a typist for the new Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. She is largely ignored until she solves a cypher regarding a bomb plot. She is then recruited to work as an undercover operative in a secret organization responsible for sabotage behind enemy lines. These have all been quick enjoyable reads ( I particularly enjoyed “ Princess Elizabeth’s Spy). Something to check out if you’re in a reading rut.

Just started reading this series and I love it. I especially like books about WW2.
