The first thought that came to mind - Stephanie Plum - so I could have Ranger in my life. Those of you who read Janet Evanovich will know what I'm talking about.

Before I saw your answer, Nancy Drew was my choice too! How nice to have someone else feel the same way.

I devoured the Nancy Drew books, as well as the Hardy Boys - such fun reading.
