I'm about to delve into my 4th Ragnar Jonasson mystery. He is an Iceland author and the book is of course set in Iceland. Two of the books took place at Christmas time. No mention of the traditional book exchange. I'm wondering why not. He gives lots of history. Interesting what you posted.
