@mollybgood -  I loved To Kill a Mockingbird. I've read it more than once and probably have seen the movie a dozen times, on and off over the years. 

 

I cannot get into The Book Thief. No matter how many times I tried, I can't get past the beginning. 

 

Everyone I know read it and thought it was superb. I guess I'm the odd woman out, because I'm done trying to read it.

why people can't appreciate the books they read on a device as well as in hard-copy form.  To my way of thinking, the words the authors use are more important than the vehicle delivering those words.
