Rosemary Simpson and Fiona Davis. These are about old New York City.
Since March I have been reading many books about the WWII and Paris. So many out there.
i just read all J. Courtney Sullivan's books. Every summer I get the latest beach reads.
I get on the author's website and sign up for emails. As soon as I see a new book coming out, I request it from the library, or request they purchase it and I am on the list for it. Most are going to be ordered anyway. During the winter I bought many when I did not go out.😷
I have read all of Lisa Scottoline's books. She is a local author and heard about her years ago in our local newspaper.

@Orchestrateacher Lee Strauss has the Ginger Gold Mysteries, the Rosa Reed Mysteries, and the Higgins & Hawke Mysteries, all very good. I also enjoy Victoria Thompson's Gaslight Mystery series.

"Ravens Roost "about civil defense during nuclear era. Sounds dull but one of the best non fiction books I've read in awhile.

For awhile I was reading fiction that took place during WW2. I don't remember the author's names but Dragonfly was one and The Alice Network was the other. And also The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. The Alice Network was one of the best historical fiction books I ever read and The Nightingale was a very close second.

I love historical mysteries. Currently I'm reading the Gaslight Mysteries by Victoria Thompson. Actually, it's the second time I'm reading them since I read them awhile ago.

On the recommendation of a poster here I'm reading The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc by Mark Twain and enjoying it.
I've also read The Alice Network and Dragonwyck. Many of the authors mentioned here I've never heard of so I'll be checking them out. Thanks posters!!!
