Has anyone read The Puma Years: A Memoir?

A true account of the author, Laura Coleman's, times in a wild animal rescue complex in the jungles of Bolivia.  I'm about 3/4 through it.  

 

I've never read anything like it.  It gets great reviews but I also find so much of it disturbing.

@PilatesLover This book sounds interesting and I can imagine that it has the potential to be "disturbing".
