Has Anybody Read Dietland? No Spoilers, Please!

I've read about half of the book so far in preparation for  the TV series.  I'd like to know if it's worthwhile to continue to the end.

 

I think it's very well written, but it's a lot of Plum interior monologue.

I just bought it- looked interesting to me.  I had no idea it was going to be a TV series until I saw the ad last night!  As a pudgy person I had to pick it up.  Not often do you see an overweight female protagonist fighting back at society's crazy expectations.  Sounds like a pretty subversive plot to me.  I will bet people will either love it or hate it.  I am going to start it soon.
