I've only read one of his very early books. It was wretched, and I've never returned.

I love his books - recently read Squeeze Me nand Razor Girl.  Funny and quirky!

I love reading anything by Carl Hiaasen! He is a great journalist and author. Once I start reading one of his books, by page 50, I want to read the whole book in one sitting, but, ration the reading time! I like how he introduces you to some real "characters", gets you to care about them AND the environment by sweeping you up in a great story.  I have not read any of his children's books,yet. I hope you enjoy his books,too. ( sorry my response was late. I just read your entry)

my kids read some of his books throughout middle school school for english classes.
