I've used this format forever to keep track of the books that I have read. In the last 1-2 weeks, I've been having difficulty when I go to look up a book to see if I've read it. Very hard to find books, even those by popular authors. Some of my reviews are not linked to a book with a title that is not written in English. The whole site seems to have been hijacked. Anyone else having strange problems with Goodreads lately?

Yes!!! I thought it was something I was doing wrong. It won't update, the versions won't show up, when I put in a read date, it won't take. Glad to know that others are having problems with the site and that it's not something I'm doing! I don't know what my options are if this site goes down, I've used it for so long and it has so much of my reading history.

I had that problem with Goodreads about 2 years ago and finally gave up using it. I've kept an Excel spreadsheet of the books I have read since 2004 so I didn't need to also keep track of books I had read on Goodreads. But I used Goodreads to keep track of books I wanted to read and miss having that feature. Now I keep track of books I want to read on my phone, but it's more cumbersome.

Yes, I have been finding it squirrely.  I'm also aggravated that on the phone app, with some books the reviews won't load beyond the first one.

Now that you mention it. A few weeks back while trying to add a book. The site was giving me a lot of difficulty. I remember closing out of the site and coming back in, and finally the book that I was trying to record as having read was accepted. Last week I was trying to look up a book for a co-worker and I could not bring it up.

I thought it was me.
