My fellow readers. I am going to miss you so much. I have truly enjoyed Book club. New ideas from other readers and sharing what I enjoyed reading.  I feel as if I know some of you although we have never met.

There is a QVC FB group for readers, that they have  kicked off a few weeks ago. I don't know how it can compare to this site, but I guess since I have no choice I will check it out.

Well if they have to close at least they did not do it in March 2020, these boards helped keep me sane and "in touch" with people, my dear friends.

I do not do facebook, I joined back in the beginning and it was awful having people requesting to follow me I had no idea who they were so I may not be on the Q facebook but I have my sweet memories.

I am so bummed about this!!!!!! Wow! What  abad decision. Not everyone has facebook-I do but I prefer the Forum for myself personally! I use facebook for family mostly! Well I certainly have enjoyed getting to "know" you all and wish you the very best!!!!

Who knows, maybe they will get so many complaints-they will bring these boards back!!

I was on the community board where I saw that the forums were being disbanded on 11/2.  I was going to post on the "What Are You Reading" but wasn't sure if it would go poof.  I was wondering if they were going to explain why.  The book forum is basically the only reason I come on here for all these years.  I'm so sad.  I'll miss all the recommendations and all the people all the years I've been on.

So sorry to see it go...there's nothing else like it out there, where you can discuss everything.

AND, mostly...since this is a retail shop with all categories of products...I come here so often to get tips and takes and reviews and feedback and info regarding purchases I'm thinking of making. Yes purchases elsewhere as well as here, but still. So informative. 

And of course...all the comradarie on individual interests...inspiration, encouragement, motivation...on threads such as the decluttering one, the exercise one..I'll definitely miss all that.

I am on facebook, use it only rarely for a few friends and relatives I don't usually see much. But I would not join a QVC forum group there as I don't want everyone in on things I'd post there. Not the same privacy on FB as here.

I'm sure the decision is made. Sorry to see it go, along with all posters here I've become familiar with.

I guess it's not an "income stream" that costs money but QVC realizes doesn't produce any. That is an understandable business decision. But it sucks.

They probably think they are losing sales by some of the content here. I for one have chosen not to purchase items due to reviews written in the blogs. I will miss that part.

I hesitated as well, thinking that  it might be removed because it's a duplicate thread. However, I took the chance, because we have some posters that only come and look at the book Forum. I did not want them to not know what was going on and be surprised. I also wanted to say goodbye. I was afraid it would get lost in the What have you read thread.
