Not to be published until June this year is:

 

"We Used to Live Here" by Marcus Kliewer.  This book has already caused a stir.  Indeed, it is optioned as a film by Netflix.  A couple that flips houses buys a huge, dilapidated old house.  One day a there's a knock on the door.  A family appears with the father saying he used to live in the house.  He wants to come in  and look around.....just for a few minutes.  Those minute begin to expand when one strange thing after another suddenly hapens. Soon the family stays in the house.  And even stranger things happen.  Strange noises happen and the youngest child suddenly disappears....Various revniews like ti but very scary to read.  .

My library and Amazon are showing that it was published in 2024, and it is available for check out from the library. I put it on hold.

The "hardcover" was released last year...the "paperback" will be released in June of this year.

It looks like something I would tear right through.  I just put a hold on it but they only have one copy and someone is ahead of me.  Looks like a great read.
