Anything except paranormal, sci/fi, fantasy and romance.  @ECBG and I would not be good together in a book club🙂

The last several years it's been Asian historical fiction, fiction and memoirs.

I enjoy women's fiction, thrillers, contemporary fiction, mysteries, historical fiction (especially WWII), and some dystopian fiction if it's not too gruesome.

ALL FICTION!

Biographies and autobiographies.  My mother is a mystery fan, and gives me books when she has finished them.  I've come to enjoy them a lot, too.

My taste exactly. Occasionally I can get into fiction but it's rare. I also love paranormal stories.

@AuntG

I don't think I've ever seen a cozy mystery thread .... maybe you want to start one by sharing your list?

Re: Favorite reading genre?

[ Edited ]

I like the (Life below zero) type of books.  Alaska, those who live out in the wild and learn to survive.  Especially like it from a woman's point of view!!! Bears and bear stories.  Those who build their lives themselves!!!

Non-fiction: cookbooks, bio's, history of MI now, found a great magazine.
