Do you read more than one book at a time?

I don't usually do that, but lately I find I have 2 going at one time.  Usually I'll stick with one book, then start another.  How about you?

I often have a fiction and a non-fiction.  Especially if one is especially a Big Hardback and I want to read in bed!

I have 5 going, one fiction, the rest non-fiction. Two are inspirational, only read a couple of pages each day. I have always had more than one book going. Typical Gemini.

I always read more than one book at a time.  I have one book for work and one for home so I don't have to carry it back and forth.

Sometimes I have as many as 5. It keeps me interested

It is just how my mind works flitting around. Even when I clean I’ll do several rooms together.

I have trouble compartmentalizing different areas of my life.

I only read one book at a time.  I am one of those people who can read a book in a few hours, so most books are finished in one or two days. If it’s good, I can’t put it down. I have already stayed up all night reading.

i am so thrilled to be able to get free Kindle books, it has saved me a small fortune, except when the free book is the first one in a series and I have to pay for the rest.

Yep. One of them is a dictionary.

I stick to reading one at a time...I read mostly all murder mysteries (lately a lot of Agatha Christie), so if I read more than one I'd probably start getting the "clues" confused. I'm also one of those people that needs absolute quiet to read...need to be able to concentrate. I wish I had the memory to be able to keep multiple books straight at once!

No, I can only concentrate on one at a time.  When I first begin a book, if there are a lot of characters, I have to keep going back to refresh my memory on who they all are.  So, if I were to read 2 or more, I'd really have trouble keeping the characters straight!
