Has anyome read this  book written by paula McClain?????

It's about Beryl Markham, lover of Denys Finch-Hatton and friend of Karin Blixen. I've 40 pages left to read and I don't want to finish it yet.

If you're a lover of Out of Africa like me this is a must.

I read this book and thought it was just a little too fictional (embellished).  I read Beryl Markham's own autobiography and thought it was fantastic.   Just my opinion.

I also read Beryl Marham's autobiography and disliked it . She evidently had help with it, but not enough, IMO.

I do have Circling the Sun and hope it's better. I got it free from BookBrowse.

I enjoyed reading it.  I have not read her book, but did enjoy this one.  It was an interesting tale for sure!  What a life.

McClain's novel is based on her life for sure. it's still a good read imo. Beryl's life was extraordinary.
