CAN YOU MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO NOOK?

I admit, I pretty much know nothing about this program, but am trying to learn.  

 

New Samsung phone, the A13 5G. 

 

It has the Nook program, so I got a couple publications, and turning the pages only works right to left.  Is there an adjustment that turns the pages from bottom to top?  

 

And how do you go back to the beginning?  I have to actually turn my phone off and one again to get out of the point where I've read up to ... I must be missing something with this.

 

I'm not lazy, it's just that I read in bed, and the turning isn't easy when you're laying down.

 

I can't find any adjustments under Settings, so I thought I'd ask.  TIA!
