Okay, I don't know how this happened but I now have 23 books waiting to be picked up at my library! I already have 17 out (returning 3 tomorrow). I'm actually embarrassed about this amount! Glad it's curbside pickup so I don't have to see anybody, LOL! Guess what I'll be doing a whole lot of??!! 📚🙀

I have always loved to read since I was a young girl.  My mother used to take me to the book store and let me pick out a book  which was always a big treat for me!  In fact I still have my childhood books from that store.

I can relate to all the books you have waiting for you to read.  I too have several bookshelves filled with books I hope to read!  I go to Barnes and Noble and I am like a kid in a candy store!  Books build vocabulary, learning, entertain and are a great escape.  There is nothing like a book you can't put down or can't wait to return to because it is so good!!!

Happy reading, enjoy!

You'll be busy reading. Plain old books are still my favorites over the electronic options. Is this heavy reading @hooked on books , or lighter stuff? I like cozy mysteries, just like I enjoy Hallmark movies.

Oh how I envy you.  Here in New Jersey libraries are not open yet. They are part of stage 3, hopefully in July.

i really don't understand why. It seems it would be very easy to control the number of people entering.

i am glad to have my kindle.

@Cwoldie I. Was able to get help from a research librarian at my Florida library last week but over the phone.   Seems some of the problem getting open is how to sanitize the various kinds of surfaces and materials and even how to supervise given all the nooks and crannies and how few employees they have.

They were here allowing us to order books and do outdoor pickup but no shelf browsing yet.   Better than nothing and probably safer

@AuntG, I love books over the electronic options too! Nothing like holding a book in your hands, LOL! Actually, I have a variety of books from the library. Mostly suspense, some nonfiction.
I feel better after having read everyone's posts! I just felt so greedy but it is really exciting having all these books! They are in paper bags, stapled shut (4 bags full) and I'm finishing up what I already have before I open the bags. I'm so thankful that we have curb-side pickup!! 😃📚
