We listen to JA Jance most recent Joanna Brady book  Downfall on our way to and from Ohio and...............

It sounded a little like she may be ending the series.  She killed off one of her deputies, severly injured Spike the K9, Joanna is pregnant again with a little girl.  She killed off her mom and stepdad too.

Im going to be bummed out if she does.  Joanna is my fav.

She has a new book in the series coming out in September, called Field of Bones.  I was shocked too at all the unexpected deaths in the last book.

I haven’t read many of the Brady books.  JA Jance has a good website and blog. Maybe you can find some info there or ask her, @Imaoldhippie.

My friend loves her.   There's too many in a series for me to start buying them.   I'm sure I'd like them tho.

Haven't read this particular one yet, presently reading another of hers about the male retired detective in Seattle - which I love.  Love all of them really!  My Kindle will attest.

@tansy...........Thanks for your suggestion.   I emailed  JA Jance and she wrote back saying that a new Brady book would be out in September.  Im a happy girl.
