Re: Another Five-Star Book!!!

I totally agree with you about "Dear Edward" - it is one of the best books I've read this year.  Readers - don't let the subject matter (plane crash) scare you away.  It won't make you fearful of flying - it's much more focused on the life of the surviving boy than depicting that terrifying scene from "Cast Away."  And the ending is just perfect (I'm a big sucker for great endings).  Highly, highly recommend!!!!

Hi Sunny, thanks so much for the recommendation ! I have been using the Libraries 2Go Overdrive app since our library has been closed and my husband and I BOTH love it. We read on our Kindle Fire and my husband (who is the last person on earth I would have ever thought I would hear say it) said that he might have a problem going back to library books ! He loves being able to adjust the size of the print, the brightness of the page and the spacing between the lines - depending on the book.   I am sure he will actually be thrilled to see the library reopen but it is wonderful to have so many options these days.

I have placed a hold on Dear Edward and am looking forward to reading it.

Wishing you well. Smiley Wink

@minkbunny  - nice to see you again. I hope you and the cowboy are doing well during these crazy times. Dear Edward was so beautifully written, I could have read the whole book over again as soon as I was done. I did save many passages on my Kindle so I could reread them, but now would not be the best time to be reading books that move my heart and bring on so many emotions. I do hope you enjoy it. Stay well!

@sunala

This book is well reviewed on Goodreads. I have a few books to pick up from the library this weekend, but once I move through them I am going to give this book a try.
