I finished listening to HOW TO SOLVE YOUR OWN MURDER by Kristen Perrin. Liked it - sort of like reading BritBox. Won't be best of year, but was nice and will continue the series. ☺️
Taking a British mystery break and reading a quick book from someone I was ready to give up on. Hmmm...maybe I should just listen to Taylor Swift's latest instead for my American palette cleanser?

I am now onto November 9 by Colleen Hoover......I have never read anything by her, so curious if I will like her books.....
Candle Queen I envy you just starting Colleen's works. I adored November 9, I read it just after it came out. Enjoy!

So many great titles from this group. I need to read more! My top priority was pre-ordering Tom Selleck's autobiography due out in May.

A few years back I started reading these threads and posting to the book forum. I would literally have a piece of paper and go through the monthly thread and write down tittle's and authors of books that I wanted to read. It was too much, between the series books that I enjoy reading and all of the wonderful suggestions from here, I do not have enough time left on this earth.
It's great to have such a wonderful Forum.

Everyone is Watching by Heather Gudenkauf (a reality game show setting thriller with lots of twists).
She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica (a creepy hospital setting thriller with lots of twists).
I really enjoyed both of these books.

I hope you don't mind if I answer. I wrote about this book in the October thread. Yes, it's a mystery. Set in 1958 it is about the death of a rich farmer and determining whether is was a murder or suicide. I listed it as one of my best books of 2023.

Of course I don't mind, thanks! Guess I missed your post on this-probably because even though I like his books, they are very long and I'm a bit impatient lately. Maybe now, lol.

I just finished The Women, Kristen Hannah recommended by several readers. I rated it 4.3/5*. Not a feel good book but a book of discovery and inner strength in a troubled time in history.
