A book for lovers of Michigan

Just finished an excellent fiction book that I highly recommend to anyone who lives/has lived in Michigan or even for anyone who has lived in a small town. it's by author Ellen Airgood and is titled, "South of Superior". Excellent description of characters, great plot line, and a something for everyone type of book; the crusty character of Gladys, senior romance, and good plot-line (you can read a plot synopsis on Amazon, etc, so I won't go into that). And on top of that, I just found out the author & her spouse own a diner in Grand Marais Michigan!! Love story that I highly recommend.

I'm reading a cozy mystery that takes place on Mackinac Island called Braking for Bodies.  Sort of funny how they try to keep the murder hidden from the "fudgies" who bring in the tourist dollars.

I've been a lifelong lover/resident of Michigan and will defnitely be looking for both of these books. Thanks for the suggestions!
