Fall is for decorating!

There’s something about Autumn that appeals to me more than any other time of year.  Spring brings joy after a long winter, for sure, but nature’s true brilliance stands out in fall.  This season offers a wealth of decorating possibilities and I’m so pleased to share some of the pictures from the many that you posted on my Facebook page

Corliss W. used a basket for the base of this lovely vignette so rich in autumn tones.

Tina W. struck just the right tone with her mantle scape. The dark candle sticks and deep berries in her garland compliment the frame of the peaceful farm scene that hangs over her mantle.

Deborah P. finished her pumpkin centerpiece by sprinkling acorns on top. At each place setting she started with a woven charger, then added fall leaves and topped each setting with sage dinner plates with a distressed edge.  Don’t you want to be invited to share a meal at Deb’s table?

Valerie C. has anchored her dining table with a burlap runner.  I love her blend of rich colors: chocolate, pumpkin, gold and champagne.  Her mix of colors and textures makes for a visually interesting table scape.

Michelle B. brought just the right amount of sparkle to her table with her glistening pumpkins and glittered leaf garland.

In Nancy L’s kitchen, her rooster matches her black and white color scheme. The pop of red apples and cheerful sunflowers seem to say, “Come right on in!"

Shari D’s fall kitchen exudes warmth in rich autumn hues.  I love the way Shari put little berry sprigs on both ends of her pumpkin groupings.

Amber F. has created such a serene scene on top of her mantle with a lovely swan as the focal point.

Peggy C. is ready to light up the night on her front porch.  Love your wagon Peggy!

And finally, here are photos from three crafty ladies!

Dawn T. “dressed” this pumpkin with ribbon and thumbtacks. Amazing!

Debra T. made her very first wreath!  I never would have guessed it was her first, as it looks like she’s been making wreaths for a long time!

And Suzanne S. crafted this delightful lantern topper with sunflowers, leaves, pumpkins and three different festive ribbons!
