Wedding Photos and Exciting News About a Ring

Hi ladies! Haven't caught up in awhile in the form of a blog and since I have somethings to tell you thought this would be a good spot to spread the news. Before we start talking shopping just wanted to see if you had a nice holiday.  Did Santa bring you what you asked for? Steve and I had a terrific holiday and instead of doing gifts we went on a weekend trip. We were off the weekend before Christmas so we left on that Saturday for Richmond, VA.  There is a beautiful hotel there called The Jefferson and staying there is vacation enough.  We were there just one night and in the morning headed to Williamsburg.  I've always wanted to see it at Christams time as the decorations are spectacular.  Well they were and the food was incredible too.  Steve and I had a delicious meal that night that even included rabbit (I know what you''re thinking but it was good), one of the best desserts I ever had, and homemade eggnog that would put a smile on anyone's face.

After our trip we made our way back north for Christmas Eve at my sister's and Christmas day at my Mom's.  It was back to work the next day but having the time together and with family made our Christmas magical. We had a nice New Year too as Steve's sister and her husband came down.  They were here for the whole weekend so we got to have a few adventures.  Starting with my favorite apple cider donuts, doing a country road Sunday drive, and having a glass of wine in a rustic inn by the fireplace. It was a very enjoyable holiday and I'm sad to see it go.

At least the new year brings Inspired Style back! We've already had two fab shows and our third is a big deal as something you've asked me about for four years  is going to make it's debut! My Diamonique ring is back! Not sure if everybody knows this but the black and white ring I wear with my wedding band is not a real diamond but instead Diamonique.  When I first came to QVC one of my favorite brands was and is Diamonique.  As a girl who never had the budget to spend on diamonds I loved that this brand was making me look like a million bucks but without coming close to breaking the bank.  Now I've always loved diamonds and I do think sometimes bigger is better that's why whe Steve and I first started looking for engagements rings I realized right away that we could not afford the carart size I would love to have.  Now some girls would settle for a smaller size knowing that the marriage is what matters but this girl has always enjoyed being different so I did something else. I knew that the ring didn't matter but if I was going to wear something for the rest of my life I wanted to love it so we decided why not invest in a wedding band that I would love forever and just buy one ring.  Why couldn't we get engaged with a band, why did I have to have the 3 carrat.  Well thats exactly what we did.  I knew that no matter what individual stone ring I ever chose or one day was able to receive that I would always love an eternity band.  So one cold November night a guy you've all come to know got down on one knee on my favorite bridge in Central Park and asked me to marry him and I said yes!

Now fast forward a year after we got married and we move to PA to start my career at QVC.  One day Jane Tracey had a Diamonique show and since I had been eyeing up rings from the brand since I walked through the doors I thought I would look through the tray they provide with all the pieces from the show.  Now I had tried on a few Diamonique rings and hadn't felt any magic yet but that day there was a ring so goergeus, so perfect in size, and so real and estate looking that when I slid it on I knew I didn't want to take it off.  The interesting thing is the ring sold out that night but was on a clearance price so like we always say, we didn't reorder it and ever since the first day you saw me on camera with it on I've been asked about it and the item number for it.  My answer has always been, sorry it's no longer available but for the first time we are bringing back my Diamonique ring that I've worn everyday for four years and have been asked about more than anything and all happens on the next Inspired Style!

I'm thrilled to show it to you and by all means if you're interested in it please don't think of it as us having the same engagement ring but us having the same great taste and the smarts to know that Diamonique really does look just like a diamond.  Plus this particular ring has always gotten me so many compliments that I know it will do the same for you.  The big debut will happen on the 25th in an Inspired Style show that will have Kris Jenner, a new B Mak, and a great way to feel more confident in our clothes this winter.  Hope you are there to watch and don't forget I would love for you to post photos of your outfits on my FB page so we can use them for the Inspire Me segment on the show. I'll see you then!

Again I hope you had a wonderful holiday.  Hope that nasty flu that is going around didn't get your family. Hope that you are waking up and going to bed with a smile on your face. Hope that you have lots of sunshine in your life.  Hope that chocolate has been present in your diet. And, I hope that this blog finds you well.

Lots of love and best wishes,

Amy
