Vegan Buffalo Tempeh

by ‎01-23-2017 04:04 PM - edited ‎01-23-2017 04:06 PM

We are so busy lately getting the house packed up, quick snacks like this one are great for taking a break to enjoy, (prep + cooking time is so quick) or for the Big Game Day coming up!    And as you know, I'm not the chef in the family, Dan is....so I like that this is easy + healthy for me to serve up to the Fam!

In case you aren't sure what Tempeh is, it's something you can find it near the Tofu section in the grocery store.  It's a soy patty with a meaty texture.  It does crisp up really nicely and marries well with buffalo sauce! YUMMMM Smiley Happy

Here's the recipe I use from Girl Makes Food

Thank you!  Sounds good.  I'm a Vegetarian but not much of a cook.  Get tired and bored eating the same things, so I'm always interested in new, easy recipes.

I'm a vegan who can't eat soy so  I make vegan buffalo cauliflower. It's so good I never have any leftovers.

Will try this! I don't eat meat and I'm always looking for tofu recipes.  I love how you can cook it in a variety of seasonings and it will take on those flavors.

I have been a vegetarian for 30 years but I would not eat this.  It looks very unappetizing.  Surely you could find a better recipe than this to post.

I appreciate you posting this recipe so much!!!  My husband and I eat a plant-based diet, and we really like trying new recipes.  You, Kerstin, and Nancy are the two most beautiful women on QVC.  God bless you!

I have been a Vegetarian for over 30 years.  I use Morningstar Farms products and they are delicious.  I have tried other products but none can compare. They even have Buffalo Chicken Wings and Patties.
