Hello everyone -- Greetings from China! I am currently here with my husband, kids, parents, and my best friend Greg. I realize that not everyone sees every single post to my Facebook page, so I thought every couple of days I could share one blog with a bunch of pictures. 

We are having such a great time so far, but here are some photos from our first three days! 

Our travels start in Beijing! Our hotel is an old traditional hutong home. The kids LOVE this bed! 

These photos are from our day in Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.

We picked up several of these bottles as gifts yesterday. Here you see the artist painting the inside. He says it he can typically do about four in one day. However, he showed us some he completed that are so detailed that they look like photographs. Those take about a week each. He's a nice guy. I first met him two years ago when I was here.

Yesterday my parents, kids, husband and I went to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. We took a chairlift up and a luge down. You can see my daughters and me on both the way up and down in these pics. So much fun!

PS: I took this photo specifically for Susan Graver! I always tell her that I wear her sunglasses all the time, and here they are on the Great Wall of China!
