'Tis that time of year when we go crazy for the holidays in our home!

A lot of you have been asking to see photos of our new home and while we've been working hard decorating and renovating... I thought I would show you some of the areas that are full blown Christmas.

Christmas is truly my favorite time of year. We love to entertain and have friends and family over constantly throughout the month.

While we're just starting the normal, day-to-day decor phase, the Christmas spirit has definitely made our house feel more like home.

Update: I am happy to report that Aaron and I finally finished painting... the trim, the walls, the windows, the ceilings, the molding, the stained glass... and somehow we're still speaking! Ha, I kid, but geeze... I didn't think we were ever going to be finished! We decided to leave the red railing up until after the holidays- it's really quite festive!

Stay tuned... I'll write another blog after the first of the year when more of our furniture arrives.

Until then, enjoy this special time with your family and friends. From our house to yours, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, & Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing. Looks just lovely. I enjoy the season too. Here I am with our skinny little tree the I've had for a few years now. I like it as it takes up such a small space and requires no major furniture moving.

We went to a slimmer tree as well, doesn't involve moving furniture. Went w/ a flocked tree & love it.

Was watching Say Yes to the Dress and there you were shopping for your wedding gown with Lisa Robertson (what a surprise).  Congratulations on your wedding.  I couldn't stay to see the end so not sure which one you picked.
