It's been called the Oscars of beauty.  The CEW Beauty Insider Awards recognize the most innovative beauty products of the year.  Winners are selected by CEW’s U.S. members…8,000 beauty industry professionals who know beauty’s best.

There are awards for best new skincare, mascara, body treatments, and so much more. One of the newest awards is the QVC Beauty Quest. We pick the brand that we think our viewers will enjoy most. This year's winner, along with other winners, will appear on air with me in July. 

I was proud to present the award to trèStiQue!  You'll be hearing more about this great makeup brand soon! Here's some behind the scenes of the big awards ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

I took the train to New York and I wanted to be comfortable so I wore gym clothes and put my heels in my purse. I carried my dress in a separate garment bag.

When I got to the Waldorf, I changed into my dress and rolled up my gym clothes and dress bag and put them in my purse. Presto! The poor purse was practically bursting at the seams but no one could tell!
