Love your Basics videos. You should have your own show.

Interested to know, Meredith, why you would hand chop the canned tomatoes when you could just purchase them already chopped in a can.

Hi Meridith      I am a new user to the presure cooker crowd.  I love my new toy but I'm having a problem with the recipes and what to take for granted.  I tried to make thembroccoli soup but not a success at all.  My problem was after cooking the broccoli for the 4 minutes I was to puree the soup but was I supposed to drain the water or blend it together with the broccoli.  I drained some and then added the heavy cream.  Tried to thicken it up with flour but it changed the taste and had to throwit away.  I guess for the amatures maybe gyt more detailed.  The same with the the northern beans and cauliflower recipe is it supposed to be supper thick.  I kept restarting the cooker to nget rid of the liquid whrn it was supposed to be done.  I know you must be sayng what a dummy but the is a new way of cooking for me that  I really like.  Help a frustrated cook.

P.S, maybe more photos of what the dish is supposed to look like (just saying lol)
