Christmas in Italy is a little bit different than it is here in the United States!!! They focus more on the birth of Jesus and they also have La Befana, the equivalent to our Santa Claus, although she's a little old lady.
On Christmas Eve, they turn out all of the lights so the town is pitch black, THEN at midnight, everyone turns back on the lights and there's a huge blaze where people start to sing. It's simply breathtaking! They are celebrating the birth of the lord, Jesus!!!
Of course, there has to be A LOT of food!! That's one of my favorite parts!!!
Why am I sharing these Italian traditions with you?!? Because this year I got to go to Italy for QVC and it was the highlight of my career!! Watch this video to see all of the special highlights from that amazing time!!! Happy Holidays!!!
