I can't really remember a time when I didn't love wearing sterling silver jewelry.  My first big piece was at the ripe old age of 5 when I was given a ring made out of the handle of a spoon.  It wrapped around my finger in its elegant bypass style and made me feel like a queen.  Years later ,as a feisty and picky teenager, I only ever wanted to wear silver jewelry.  I liked the way it went with my hair and coloring and just seemed to be more "me."  That's not to say that I didn't ever wear gold, but when I look through my jewelry box at all the rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets I've collected over the years, I realize that the pieces I've bought for myself, are almost exclusively, sterling silver.  The shine, the elegance, the reflection, the color...all the things that lured me in at age 5 are the same things I love about it as an adult.

Now that I'm grown up, my taste in the look of sterling silver has grown up too.  That's why I always look forward to our Sterling Designer events on QVC.  Some of the most talented and presitigious designers in the world work with this noble metal for their exclusive QVC collections.  I love the modernity and organic look of RLM Studio by the amazing Robert Lee Morris.  Nothing makes you understand the word "luxe" more than wearing a new design by Judith Ripka.  I love the artsy textures and unique gemstones that Michael Dawkins incorporates into his looks.  Whether I'm feeling sporty, eclectic, or refined (or just trying to be!) I love that there is something for every taste and style on this special day.  Be sure to tune in with me and Michael Dawkins at 10a and Judith Ripka at 11.  Both designers have some amazing new looks in their lines that will make you smile.  Let's just say I think you'll find that shopping for great jewelry will bring out the grown up girl in all of us!
