On Sunday, April 3rd,  Rick Springfield dropped by the Sundays with Carolyn and Dan show to perform an  unplugged acoustic version of his  new single, "Down", for us, from his latest album, Rocket Science!! Then, he stuck around after the show, to chat with fans and play a couple of songs for a special Live Stream on my Facebook page! It was SO awesome to have him here! Dan and I had decided a couple of weeks ago to make Rick's song, "Down" our new theme song for our Sunday show....we love the song  AND both of us had met Rick in the past and are big fans, so it was a perfect choice!

When Rick found out we had chosen the song, he contacted our producer and arranged to stop by the show to debut it LIVE.  He was just as nice, funny, cool, handsome, and WOW as ever!!  After the show on the Live Stream, I had a chance to chat with Rick and ask him some questions that you had posted on my FB page, as well as find out about his current tour, an upcoming party for his fans in the Bahamas this Fall, and his adorable dog, Bindi!

Rick had a great time and promised to come back to visit us again! Meanwhile, we  LOVED having him here and will think of him every Sunday morning when our new theme song  "Down" plays!
