OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 12 at 12 Instant Win Sweepstakes ("Promotion") begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 19, 2018 and ends at 1:00:00 AM ET on December 18, 2018 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion contains a game of chance (“Instant Win”). The computer clock of Administrator is the official time-keeping device in the Promotion.

This Promotion uses Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”) as means of entry. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook. All questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Sponsor at the address listed below and not to Facebook.

  1. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 (except Alabama and Nebraska 19 and 21 in Mississippi) years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees, officers and directors of QVC, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Realtime Media LLC (“Administrator”) and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies, (collectively, “Promotion Parties”) their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Void in any state not listed above and where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

 

  1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Each day between 12:00:00 AM ET and 1:00:00 AM ET (“Daily Entry Period”) during the Promotion Period, the Sponsor will host a live stream viewable on Facebook. To participate in the Promotion, log into your Facebook account and visit QVC’s Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/QVC/. Post a comment on one (1) of the Sponsor’s midnight hour live streams hosted during the Promotion Period with the hashtag “#12at12Sweepstakes”, which will be featured within the caption of the live steam. Upon posting your comment with the hashtag #12at12Sweepstakes, you will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion (“Promotion Entry” or “Entry”). Your comment must adhere to the “Requirements of Entries” listed below in order in order to be valid. Limit of one (1) Promotion Entry per person, per Facebook account, per Facebook live stream throughout the Promotion Period. Non-winning participants from each Daily Entry Period will be eligible to comment on a different live stream during the Promotion Period.

Note: To participate, you must have a valid Facebook account. Facebook accounts are free to create at www.facebook.com, and you must accept the terms and conditions of Facebook upon creating an account.

 

REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: Comments may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:

  • Is sexually explicit; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane;
  • Promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
  • Is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
  • Defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
  • Communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or
  • Violates any law.
  1. INSTANT WIN PRIZE AWARDING/ODDS: Three Hundred Sixty (360) prize winners will be determined throughout the Promotion Period, twelve (12) per Daily Entry Period. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible Promotion Entries received during each Daily entry Period and the date and time when a particular Promotion participant posts their comment. Nonwinning Promotion Entries will not be rolled over to the next Daily Entry Period.

 

  1. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners must have enabled direct messaging on their Facebook account, potential winners will be notified via direct message from the Sponsor. If potential winners do not have direct messaging enabled through their account, the potential winners will receive a notification via a comment on their Entry from the Sponsor with a call to action to email the promotion administrator via the email address provided in the comment. The potential winners will also be required to send the Sponsor their contact and mailing information within one (1) day of being notified or they will forfeit the prize. The required contact information will consist of, but not limited to, the following: Full Name, Complete Mailing Address, and Phone Number.

 

The potential winners of prizes valued more than $600 will also be sent, via email, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release and an IRS W9 Form. All forms must be completed, signed, notarized and returned to Realtime Media within three (3) days of date of issuance. The potential winner then and only then becomes the “winner.” A potential winner becomes a “Winner” only after verification of eligibility by Sponsor. If any potential winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period, if the potential winner is ineligible, if any notification is returned undeliverable, or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining entries for that drawing.

  1. PRIZE LIMITATIONS: Limit of one (1) Instant Win Prize per person throughout the Promotion Period. If it is discovered, during prize verification, that you have entered, attempted to enter, or used multiple accounts to enter more than the stated limit, you will be disqualified at the discretion of the administrator, or will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and Entries made by any means, which subvert the entry process, are void. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Promotion Parties are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or undelivered prizes.

 

  1. A 1099 tax form (preceded by a W9 Form) will be issued to the prize winners whose prizes are valued more than $600.
