Oster recipe! Don't Go Bananas Muffins

This is a recipe I made in support of Sunday's Today's Special Value – the Oster French Door Oven!

Easy, Fast Gluten Free Banana Muffins (yields 15-18 muffins)

Two or three leftover (quickly browning) bananas? No problem!

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 just overripe bananas (they look like leopards)
  • 1/3 cup of honey (feel free to use ½ cup of white sugar here if you want them sweeter)
  • 1/3 cup room temperature butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-1.5 cups gluten free all-purpose Pillsbury flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Walnuts? Chocolate Chips? Peanut butter chips? Optional

Directions:

  • Pre-heat your Oster French Door oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix all the wet ingredients together (mashed bananas, honey, butter, egg)
  • Then mix in your dry ingredients (baking soda, baking powder, GF flour, salt, and optionals)
  • I used cupcakes wrappers (to make it even easier) but you can also grease a pan and drop one big spoonful (fill about halfway) in each cup
  • Bake until slightly brown on top (about 18-20 minutes)

  • Remove immediately from the pan and let them cool on a rack
  • Enjoy with a hot cup of coffee, tea, or chair and BASK in the fact that your new oven is still sparkly clean and gorgeous.

Much love!

Looks like foil in the bottom of the oven, I thought you weren't suppose to use foil in it.

I have this oven and am very undecided about keeping it, directions aren't clear to me.

I wonder if there is a video for using this, does anyone know?
