Hello my Northern Nighters. Can you believe it is August.  Summer vacations still going strong...squeezing out the last bit of summer fun.  I love summer.  I enjoy the beach, parks, golf, tennis and long evenings outside.  But when fashion day arrives at QVC, it puts me in the mood for fall. 

As you know I love to decorate and change my home decor with the seasons, along with my fashions. Since being with Northern Nights I have come to love textures,colors and new color schemes in my home.  It is amazing how a simple color change in a sheet set, can change the look in the bedroom. I recently bought a new home and to achieve the looks I wanted without breaking the bank.....I used colors in new towels,sheets, coverlets,down blankets and comforter sets.  I know you can not do it all at once but it made a huge difference. Slow and steady for each room is my motto. 

If you are like me, with September fast approaching ,kids back at school, change is welcomed.  The sheet police visited my home at the beach.  I have always used white sheets on my master bed.  I finally sprinkled in the sea glass color and love that look mid summer.  Our TSV on August 8, gave me the idea to try something different. 

When you are at the beach in the fall some days can be dreary, warm and cozy is what you are after. I picked the grey reversible 500TC NN sheet set.  TWO different sheets in one, now that's a bargain.  Both colors of grey went great with my current yellow comforter.  I was pleasantly surprised!   Not only was the look outstanding but the sheets are wonderful.  100% cotton,soft, breathable and 500TC ....perfect weight.  I love the look and the comfort.  It just so happens that Kelly's dog Gia and my daughter's dog Utley felt the same way too.  They took a long nap on Grammy's bed after the picture. 😊
