My Last West Chester Christmas Parade

As I end my career here at the Q, I was able to attend my last West Chester Christmas Parade as a Show Host on December 1st.  It was definitely a bittersweet night… I loved the parade and will probably still attend it after I retire on 12/29/17… but it was a must to capture as many of the special moments with my friends that I could.... I wanted to share them with you:

These are the two convertibles that met us at QVC for the hosts to ride in during the parade...pretty sweet!

All of us piled into the QVC Shuttle Bus to get to downtown West Chester

At the parade, we were able to grab something to eat and get ready for the night ahead

Even my daughter and grandchildren were there!

QVC sponsored the parade and Dan Hughes and Jen Coffey were the MC's along with Adam Joseph from ABC News

Mary Beth made lots of new friends

Our remote team was there and Mary DeAngelis was covering the parade

Our QVC Singers were there in force and were caroling the whole time

And of course "The Big Guy" himself - Santa!

We had employees handing out chocolate covered pretzels to the crowd.... yum!

There were bands and floats and so much more... and of course us driving by in those convertibles

...and just like that... it was over.  Just like my 29 amazing years here at the Q flew by....I have memories that I will cherish and life-long friendships that I will take with me.... but I just feel the time has come to try something new.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your friendship and viewership all these years... you all might be what I'm going to miss most....

God Bless you,

Dan
