My Fall Design Style

by on ‎09-28-2016 01:18 PM

I would describe my design style as eclectic, chic, comfortable, inviting.  So in other words, I surround myself with things that I like whether it fits into a specific style or not. Fortunately James has the same esthetic.  We love bouncing ideas back and forth between us and usually settle on looks we both love.

When we moved into our home 15+ years ago we found a dinning room table that we loved but it was really small. We ended up using it in the kitchen.  When we remodeled the kitchen last year we moved it to the dining room. Unfortunately, it is waaaay to small for our family gatherings so we went on the hunt for a larger table.  (We are saving the old table for our daughters). Here it is!!

Kind of a rustic farm table but it has a grey stain. It seats 12!

We did upholstered chairs to soften the room with slim side chairs and velvet tufted Captain chairs.  We added some sparkle with the pierced metal chandelier.

My table centerpiece is a collection of fresh cut and dried leaves and flame less  candles.

I am so looking forward to lingering around our table after a delicious meal, talking about the good old days and our plans for the future.

What's next...stay tuned..
