A few weeks back, Jason and I made a whirlwind trip to the Windy City.

One of the highlights of our trip:  catching an afternoon game at Wrigley Field.  This was a check off the bucket list.  You feel like you are stepping into history when you walk into the stadium.

Best part… the Cubs won!

We took our job as tourists seriously:  strolling along Navy Pier…

Stopping by Buckingham Fountain…

And yes… what felt like the top of the world:  Willis Tower!

We rode the elevator up 1353 feet… where we got a glimpse of 4 states… the beauty of Lake Michigan…

and one of the greatest t-shirts ever! Full disclosure:  I’m not a huge fan of heights… so….

We took an Architecture Tour along the Chicago River… MUCH more my style!  Gorgeous scenery… a great guide.. and just a perfect afternoon!

And you can’t talk about Chicago without a shout out to the amazing restaurants.  The food in Chicago is simply put:  outstanding.

From steakhouses to deep dish pizza joints… I think we’re still full!

4 1/2 days wasn’t enough to take it all in.  We decided Chicago is definitely our kind of town!  What are your favorite spots there?
