Lori Greiner is here, there, and everywhere. A perpetual traveler, the entrepreneur, author, and big fish of Shark Tank talked vacations and packing tips with us, from smart accessories to travel solutions. Wherever you’re going this summer, take some of Lori’s advice and unique products with you!

Jill Stratton: We know you’re a very busy woman! How often do you travel for work and pleasure?

Lori Greiner: A lot of great things put me on an airplane often. It gets really busy with two different TV shows, QVC, and working with all of my entrepreneurs and their businesses. I also do speaking engagements. It’s my hope to travel more often in the near future for pleasure.

JS: Are there any items you always bring with you when you travel?

LG: There are so many items I always bring with me when I travel. Two things I can’t live without are my Ultimate Cosmetic Organizer Case and my Weekender Bag with Snap-In Toiletry Case. Both of these items I created for myself and for all of the QVC viewers because I found there wasn’t anything out there that suited my travel needs. The Weekender Bag has a toiletry case built in to the inner flap and holds so much in a small regulation-size case. Rick Domeier jokes that it’s the clown car of travel bags—more and more just keeps coming out of it when I do my demonstrations on air.

I actually travel with two of my Ultimate Cosmetic Organizer Cases: one for all of my makeup and hair accessories, the other has all of my skin care, exfoliants, and lotions. They both have specifically designed compartments to separate and organize and allow you to see everything at a quick glance. They’re the perfect size to pack right into my suitcase. I don’t know what I’d do without them. I can’t imagine going back to any other way.

JS: Your Ready Set Go Bag Organizer and Gold and Silver Safekeeper Jewelry Case are perfect for women on the go! Why do you think they’re so great for travelers?

LG: The reason I love my Gold and Silver Safekeeper Jewelry Case is because all of my jewelry stays separated, organized, and safe. And I can see all of my jewelry at a quick glance. It also looks like a cute little purse, so no one really thinks there is jewelry inside it. A bonus is it doesn’t get crushed in my suitcase.

My Ready Set Go Bag Organizer is always in my purse! I can’t imagine having a purse where everything is just thrown inside. If my cellphone is ringing I can find it in an instant. If I need a pen or my mascara it’s a fingertip away. I really can’t imagine living without it…really no woman should. It’s so easy!

JS: Many of us are hitting the road or taking to the skies for graduations, weddings, and beach trips. Do you have any packing tips?

LG: Use organizers so you can pack neatly and efficiently, plus they’ll make more room in your suitcase. Pack lightly. Don’t pack 10 pairs of shoes—choose three pairs at most that match everything: flats, heels, and sneakers in classic black or a neutral. You should plan your outfits ahead of time. Make sure they transcend day to night and don’t wrinkle. It’s okay to wear the same outfit twice.

JS: Any big trips planned this summer?

LG: We’re thinking of going to Italy and France, but it’s not been set yet!

JS: What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?

LG: I think one of the most beautiful cities in the world is Paris. I also love Italy; Zurich; and St. Petersburg, Russia!
