QVC and I have been planning our Spring Season for over a year and I’m super excited to share that together we have put together not only the largest assortment of new JAI designs but some of the most beautiful designs that I’ve ever had the chance to present, including a very exciting Today’s Special Value planned for the end of June.  While we practice our patience together, I would love to give you a little sneak peek of some of the new designs I have coming your way this Friday.

I have always loved the Spring Season as it symbolizes new beginnings & hope for a bright new year.  That being said, my first collection to kick off the Spring Season may just be my favorite as it was inspired by my daughter Olive and requested from our JAI Collectors.

Olive’s Sunflower Collection was inspired by the simple act of planting Sunflower seeds with my daughter Olive last March and the sweet conversations that we shared for six weeks while we took care of them. 

My morning ritual of making coffee and listening to the Linda Ronstadt Pandora station was followed by our morning ventures to check on the sunflowers (rain or shine).  Olive, like most children’s mind is so inquisitive and full of questions. (which is why I needed my coffee before we went out to check on the sunflowers).  While the questions always started out about the Sunflower and how it turned from a seed into a beautiful Sunflower, they normally ended with questions that became life lessons.

I would share many of our conversations and pictures on our JAI Facebook page and so many of our JAI Collectors loved them and in return asked if I would create a Sunflower in honor of Olive so they could have one of Olive’s Sunflowers.  It was a fun collaboration of sharing the sketches, wax carvings and samples and hearing what she liked and didn’t like, of course she loved them all and wanted to have all the sketches turned into jewelry.  I really hope you love this very special collection as much as I love the little girl who helped me create it.  The Sunflower symbolizes Eternal Love, Faith, Hope and Happiness.

Next I’m taking you back to Africa for an exciting and much anticipated launch from our ‘Out of Africa Collection’.  I’m so please to introduce our new Giraffe Collection.   I fell in love with the Giraffe all over again after trekking through Botswana for 2 weeks under the guidance of the Kalahari Bushmen.

 ‘The gentle Giraffe with its long neck reaching up to the Heavens symbolizes the ability to see the future and obtain goals that normally would be out of reach.’  Like the Giraffe, when we take a higher more enlighten perspective we are able to see past our daily obstacles and focus on what truly is important.  The Giraffe reminds us to maintain our focus and move slowly and deliberately in the direction of our dreams.  It serves as a beautiful reminder that what we do today and the decisions that we make will create our tomorrow.

Our most popular collection at JAI Jewelry has become our Box Chain Collection.  I am so happy that so many of you have fallen in love with our 2.7mm and 5.3 Box Chain Bracelets and Necklaces.

 I have heard from so many of your that you want more, more, more and at the top of your requests was to introduce gold.  The wait is over my friends, I’m excited to share our brand new 14k gold beaded Box Chain choice of bracelet or necklace.  They simply are perfect for everyone and every lifestyle.  They stack beautifully with our current box chains and looks amazing stacked with our gemstone bead bracelets.  There will be lots more coming with this collection very soon.

Two designs that I must point out that speak to our high level our quality and craftsmanship are our gorgeous new Heritage Cuff and our spectacular new Lotus Petal Sukhothai Hinged Bangle.  These two encompass the soulful craftsmanship that we are known for. 

Our Heritage Cuff is the largest cuff I have ever designed for JAI.  Measuring almost 1.5 inches wide of beautifully hand engraved silver, it brings to life the story of JAI.  Like a beautifully illustrated picture book, you can start from one end of the cuff and tell the story of our brand’s heritage.  There is also a new design featured that won’t be out until March, but you will have to find it yourself.

Our Lotus Petal hinged bangle has the largest gold presence that we have ever created for JAI and features one of the most breathtaking back-grills you will ever see in a piece of jewelry.  Whether your eye is drawn to the 52 solid 14k lotus petals or the ancient kingdom of Sukhothai that has been exquisitely carved into the back-grill, this piece is destined to be a collector favorite and a conversation starter.
