It’s A Family Affair

by on ‎12-07-2010 01:23 PM

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Ron and I spent our holiday with our youngest son, Brian, whom some of you know from his QVC appearances, his beautiful wife, Allison, their children, Gabby and Jesse, and Allison’s extended family.  It was filled with lots of love and laughter, and of course, delicious food (too much!)  We reflected on everything for which we are grateful, especially all of you, my wonderful customers and Ripkanistas, who have supported me for so many years.  Thank you so much.

I want to specifically thank those of you who tuned in during my November 21 show to see the launch of my handbag collection.  The positive response was overwhelming, and as a result, I will be showing additional styles during my upcoming shows this Friday, December 10 from 10am to 12noon and from 8pm to 10pm (EST).  These shows will also have an additional element of excitement, because my daughter-in-law, Allison, will appear on-air with me to show the handbags, as she has been intimately involved with their design, offering a “younger” point of view and her own “downtown, fashion-forward” twist.  She has her own very strong sense of style and impeccable taste (after all she had the good taste to marry my son, Brian).  I cannot wait for you to meet her.  With Allison as part of the team, I am very pleased that my business will continue to be a family affair.

Speaking of family, after working so closely with Lisa Robertson for so many years, I think of her as family.  We stay in touch between shows and see each other whenever she is in New York.  Lisa is one of the chicest, most stylish women I know, so when I heard that she was featuring my new Sterling Silver Gemstone & Diamonique Monaco ring, J156568, on her Lisa’s Posh Presents show airing this Thursday, December 9 from 8pm to 11pm (EST), I was excited.  My Monaco ring design has been a signature style in my 18k Couture collection for many years and a celebrity favorite on Red Carpet, worn by, amongst others, Vanessa Hudgens, Isla Fisher, Tina Fey, Teri Hatcher and Kelly Preston.  It is the ultimate cocktail ring, a statement piece that will add sparkle and glamour to any wardrobe.  Many of you have been asking for it for quite some time, so it is with great joy that I bring this style to QVC.  My QVC version will be available in Onyx with white Diamonique, Ginger Quartz with brown Diamonique and Rose Quartz with pink Diamonque.

In addition to my Monaco ring, on December 9, at midnight on December 10, I will announce my new TSV, J151263, Sterling & 14K Clad Diamonique 36" Heart on Cord.  This heart shaped piece of jewelry is a wonderful holiday gift for your mother, sister, daughter or any special woman in your life.  Or, give a gift to yourself and wrap yourself in one of life's little luxuries.  Also inspired by my Couture collection, this piece is perfect because it is one size fits all and a special piece that can be worn close to her heart, doubling its significance.  The black cord keeps this piece very wearable for daytime and the 14K adds a touch of glamour for evening.  I will be sharing other new jewelry designs during my December 10 shows including the much anticipated Evil Eye enhancer, J155087, which I hope will excite those of you who have been repeatedly requesting this design.  The piece has finally arrived, and after reviewing it with the QVC team yesterday, we have all agreed that it looks even better in person.  The eye is a rich blue enamel which pops set in Diamonique and framed in my signature textured rope twist design.  I am looking forward to receiving your feedback after you purchase it and hope you love it as much as I do.

The excitement will continue in-person for those of you in New York City on December 11, as I will be hosting my annual Holiday Party at my Flagship store on Madison Avenue from 12noon to 3pm.  The store address is 777 Madison Avenue between 66th and 67th Streets, and I would love to see you.  It is always a fun and festive afternoon and the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season.

So, one final drum roll, my show times will be as follows –

Judith
