I hope you’re all a little chilly because then I know you will REALLY need this TSV 2-Ply Cashmere Sweater Tunic. I can probably speak for all New Yorkers when I say that the weather has been incredibly confusing, causing a wardrobe crisis citywide. This tunic may be the ONE reliable piece to take you from this awful weather limbo into the rest of the fall and winter! My cashmere is just delicious—when you have the sweater in your hands you’ll feel the texture and it’s just AMAZING! I REALLY cannot get over this sweater. Not only does it come in every essential color you would ever want, and it’s the BEST layering piece. The tunic comes in black, dark navy, olive leaf, soft grey heather, winter blush, stone heather. You can throw a cotton long sleeved shirt underneath and the tunic can suddenly transform into the most amazing outerwear piece, similar to a very chic poncho! The truly wonderful part about this TSV is that the tunic silhouette is flattering for all women. I also LOVE the sporty look of the ribbed detail on the mock neck, along the sides, and along the bottom.

I see this TSV going from the office, to the kid’s games, to a date night! I mean really—with the right pair of pants and shoes you nail the effortless chic look. It’s the easy solution to everyday dressing!! I would style the tunic with my chic moto boots, or high boots, and a 24/7 stretch pant for an elevated day look. You can even add the cutest pop of color by styling with a great belt around your waist! The ultrachic way to style this would be taking my amazing dark heather grey turtleneck dress, layer it with the tunic, throw on a pair of absolutely precious tights, and a fabulous boot—It’s such a MAJOR look!

This tunic will be your staple, your basic, and if you want to wear it 100 times a week I think you should and dress it up and down in so many different ways! I just KNOW you’re going to get so many compliments on this piece.

Hmm, now what else has been going on!?

Well, I had the great pleasure of designing the costumes for the American Ballet Theater Fall Season at Lincoln Center in NYC. As you may already know, theater is one of my greatest passions in life and my good friend Mark Morris choreographed the piece for the ABT named “After You.” We have collaborated before and when we met to talk about ABT, we discussed the choreography, the emotion, and how my design could cater to these ideas. Mark mentioned wanted the dancers to look human in the performance. The costumes I designed are fluid and move beautifully with the body. I used soft and glowing colors here, from yellow to pink—seeing those colors dance across the stage was SO entrancing and reminded me why I love the ballet as much as I do!
