What do you get when you combine fashionistas, designer items & shopping for a good cause? Yup, you get one of my favorite days of the year… QVC presents Super Saturday Live !  

If you are not familiar with this event, this high-end shopping experience (which is basically set up like a designer flee market on a field in the Hamptons) is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. VIP’s, celebrities & those who want to help fight for a cure all try to snag designer duds at half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price The best part? 80% of the purchase goes to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

For the past eight years, QVC has decided to fight for a cure…by participating in a big way. This can’t-miss benefit continues to generate an unbelievable amount of money. So far, $8.9 million dollars has gone to the Ovarian Cancer Research fund.

To get the excitement started, many of us at QVC, took part in our initiative “#keepinitteal (teal is the color used to raise awareness of the disease.)  We all dedicated the day to those who are fighting Ovarian Cancer and to those women who are looking for something we can all help provide….Hope.

So if you are heading to the event…pack your flip-flops and shopping strategy in your purse. My suggestion? Do one lap and then go for your favorite finds…. these must-have items go fast!
