I’m a mommy to two gorgeous girls but everyone always asks me "don't you want a boy?" Never have I felt I needed a boy but I always thought one would be in my life. This past weekend, I got two!

My best friend came to West Chester with her family and we baptized her two beautiful boys in the Catholic Church. My husband Dan and I became Godparents to Richelle's darling one year old and handsome four year old.  Boys that we have loved before they were even born. Richelle is Grace’s God mommy and we were so excited to be asked to take that roll in her boy’s lives as well.

In a classic baptism fashion, the babes weren't thrilled to sit in a church for an extended period of time.  So many of the photos are of the frazzled family members trying to keep the boys calm. The other pics were mostly of Richelle and me crying because we cry all the time and this was such a special and long time coming event in our lives. Happy tears of course.   And a big big thank you for my dear friend Rachel for taking all of these photos for us on this amazing day!

This was all a part of a quick 72hours I got to spend with my best friend.  Way too short but packed with so much fall fun.  We went to a local farm to get pumpkins and go apple picking and of course get apple cider!  (Be on the look out for my next blog to see how I decorated for Fall).

And Richelle was able to join me at work!  I already miss you so much but here's to next time and the next set of memories to be made!!

Please join me in saying a prayer to bless my sweet boys.  I’m so grateful that Richelle, her husband the Lord have trusted Dan and me to help raise them in faith.
