How to stay warm and cozy -- Thoughts from me & you

My favorite way to stay comfy-cozy during the holidays is...not to get out of my jammies, headband in hair, Orthaheel slipps on feet, fire in the fireplace 24/7, Christmas lights aglow, a glass of wine or a cup of coffee (if it's morning) in hand, some sort of food spread for grazing on in the kitchen (pref cheese and crackers or my sis in law's wicked good smoked salmon and capers dip) along with HOPEFULLY tons of snow pouring down outside, the people i love nearby...and a James Bond movie marathon running nonstop on the tele.

I know that sounds funny, but growing up, my family was addicted to JB movies. We would always watch those Bond-a-thon specials on tv during thanksgiving and Christmas. Like clockwork my brother comes in the TV room during the holidays and says, "Is Bond on?". We've seen them all a million times but we never tire of all the gadgets and espionage and music and intrigue. My first Bond movie I ever watched was Octopussy. Since then, I know so much about Bond and Bond trivia, I once impressed the President of CBS News when I interned there, when he quizzed me on lines from the movie Goldfinger and I knew them all! Bond to my family, is like a warm, familiar blanket on a bitter chilly day. It's not the holidays without Bond. (And it's is so funny because my sis in law has the same affinity for the Godfather movies bc she grew up watching those, so we all fight over the remote control and which series will win out. Sometimes the Disney channel trumps us all bc my niece Sloane(7yrs old) is way too young to watch any of them!)

Here's some of the advice you gave. Thanks for sharing!
