Here's my new kitchen! It's taken a LONG time, but it's done!

My new kitchen is finally finished! Here's a quick play-by-play on how we arrived to the finished product. 

 

I wanted to use this old brick as the floor for my dining room, so I power washed all six sides of the bricks. I needed 1000!

The brick floor was laid in the dining room. The reclaimed white oak for the kitchen floor is down! The next step is painting...

Here are the cabinets right after they were delivered!  The drawers and doors all have the soft close function, so I went around and slammed every one unsuccessfully! What fun! Smiley Happy

One of my favorite features of the new kitchen? CHECK OUT MY KNIFE DRAWER! I'm so excited about this! I was able to design the slots in the blog myself so every slot was made with a knife in mind.
